Paragliding at Rhossili
No, don't be daft - of course it's not me!
But someone was having fun. What a fantastic view they must have had.
If only I had the health and courage ...

Hi Siani. I just read on your Pot Purri that you were thinking of ending this Blog. I'm asking you to think agian, because, as they say "You can never have too much of a good thing" I mean of course all the excellent photos of The Gower that you've been so good to share with us. I look at Jim' World; The Pig's Lip; SNNR; Welcome to Gower; Mumbles Webcam; and as many more I can find about Gower and Swansea. Your History of Swansea blog makes for very educational and entertaining reading (much better than any history book that I know of) The account of that downhill wagon ride and the cavalry officer's reaction was brilliant. I believe that the key to knowing about a blog are the links to it from other blogs. I am lucky enough to be "linked" on Jims World blog myself and have seen my hits increase. It's a nice feeling when you know that people (whoever they are) are coming back for another look. I live in Canada now having left Swansea in 1980. My heart however still belongs to The Gower (I used to live inside Dunvant Park - the house at the top of the park) I miss the area a lot. As I said I check Swansea blogs every day, and now I know about yours too :-)) Please keep it going, the photos are great, and they bring back such wonderful memories for myself and other Swansea expats. I will put a links to your blogs on mine, and I hope it will help you out. As far as comments are concerned, I haven't had one yet (I'm on Yahoo 360 and you have to register with them before you can comment on one of their blogs, so I'm told) The remarks I do get are by email, so I wouldn't worry too much about that. It IS good to get complimented from time to time though. So please keep your blogs going. They ARE being looked at, and that's the important thing.
All the Best and Happy Blogging.

Many thanks for your kind words, Jeff - it's nice to get a bit of positive feedback. And many thanks for the link - I'll be adding yours to this blog and Siani's Pot Pourri in as soon as it takes to navigate to the templates and update them. Once again, thanks for your supportive words.
