Gower Peninsula: Black cow at Rhossili
It's impossible to avoid meeting livestock, when you go walking on the Gower Peninsula. I felt ever so brave creeping up on this large beast, at Rhossili.
When it suddenly moved - so did I, despite there being a sturdy gate between me and it.
There was a gate between me and the bovine monster, but I still legged it! Cows are mostly docile, but can be very dangerous when they have calves. And if anyone is foolish enough to stand between a cow and their calf - they'd best phone for an ambulance. They've been known to kill or seriously injure people who they perceive as a threat to their babies.

Cows are mostly friendly but sometimes they put the willies up me when they get boistrous.
